When did Catholic Sports Leagues (CSL) begin?

Catholic Sports Leagues had a soft-launch in the fall of 2017, however, the first official event was bowling in January of 2018.

I don't have someone else to sign up with, is that OK?

Yes!  Many people sign up for their first event without knowing anyone. Catholic Sports Leagues is here to help build community and foster new connections.

Can I sign up with a team?

Yes, some leagues allow for you to request one or two friends to be on your team. We hope to create teams that allow for new connections and encourage people to get outside their comfort zones.

How can I suggest an event?

We love to hear your feedback and encourage suggestions for new events! Please email info@catholicsportsleagues.com with your ideas. Our goal is to provide low-cost, easily accessible events for people in the Chicago area.

What does the event fee go towards?

The CSL board is volunteer based, so the majority of fees are used to cover standard expenses for equipment and renting spaces to host evebts. A minimum of 10% of our yearly revenue is donated to charities as well.

Which charities does CSL donate to?

We donate to charities that align with the teachings of the Catholic Church. Some of the organizations that we have supported in the past include Missionaries of Charity, Altus Academy, Cathedral Shelter of Chicago, Women’s Health Center, and Our Lady of the Angels.Â
